The Assoc. of Am. Colleges & Universities declares: "A truly liberal education is one that prepares us to live responsible, productive, and creative lives in a dramatically changing world."

But educators’ limitations and conservatism restrict such education and so retard minds.

Hence, we need an impartial, comprehensive text that boldly conveys liberal learning. We need:

              A World-Class Education

                           Indispensable for Achieving Freedom and Well-Being

                    As It Alone Enables Excellence of Mind, Personality, and Life

                                                                                                                       free inquiry fall 1995
                Asks vital questions and grounds answers in evidence and logic;

   hence, answers are derived from the sciences and philosophy.

Broadens viewpoints as it constructs a modern and moral worldview.

   This is crucial for creating a personal best-life philosophy.

Conveys critical information and thinking skills; hence, it facilitates

   problem solving and decision making with superior arguments.

Discloses antisocial factors and pernicious errors in human affairs;

   thus, it immunizes against deception, exploitation, and hypocrisy.

Explains criteria for an authentic and autonomous existence with

   a humane and social conscience for life at a higher level of being.

Frees individuals from disabling political, economic, and religious

   assumptions that obstruct the best life here and now.

Generates faculties that make one stronger than most misfortunes;

   thus, nearly all can be conquered when competently confronted.

Holds that today’s minds determine tomorrow’s future; ergo,

   it is crucial that we are committed to their full development.

Illustrates that a world-class education can yield a conscience that is

   "holy"--wholesome, complete, and perfect in a moral sense--and

   "divine"--extraordinary and excellent in the highest degree.
